Please read these Terms & Conditions ("Terms") carefully before using the FitReclaim application ("the App"). By using the App you agree to these Terms.

Acceptance of Terms

By downloading or using FitReclaim, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, do not use the App.

Description of Service

FitReclaim is a free Android application that enables users to manually log workout sessions to Android Health Connect. The App optionally uses AI image recognition (via Google's Gemini API) to extract workout data from gym machine screens.

Requirements

• Android 14 (API 34) or higher
• Google Health Connect installed and set up on your device
• A screen lock must be enabled on your device (Health Connect requirement)
• Internet connection required for AI scanning feature only

Not a Medical Device

FitReclaim is a convenience tool for logging fitness activities. It is not a medical device and is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or health condition. Do not rely on this app for medical decisions. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional for medical advice.

Data Accuracy

The AI scanning feature is designed to assist with data entry but may not always accurately extract information from gym machine screens. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying all workout data before saving it to Health Connect. We make no warranties regarding the accuracy of AI-extracted data.

License

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for your personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not:

• Copy, modify, or distribute the App or its source code
• Reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code
• Use the App for any unlawful purpose
• Remove or alter any proprietary notices in the App

Intellectual Property

The App and all of its original content, features, and functionality are owned by FitReclaim and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. "FitReclaim" and the associated logo are trademarks of their respective owners.

Third-Party Services

The App integrates with the following third-party services:

• Android Health Connect – governed by Google's terms of service
• Google Firebase AI (Gemini API) – used for AI scanning, governed by Google's terms

We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or policies of these third-party services.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components. Your use of the App is at your sole risk.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, FitReclaim and its creators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the App.

Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
